Sandy and her cat mate Daphne were returned to us after their family acquired a dog; the two cats had some problems adjusting to the dog. We feel one or both of these ladies would do better in a home with no dogs. The coloring of Sandy's fur coat is a perfect example of the banding called agouti. The individual hairs of the light parts of a Tabbie cat's fur are striped with alternating light and dark bands, like the fur of a rabbit or a squirrel.
